in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite

On December 7, we invite you to St. Augustine Monastery Chapel to first Vespers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was fitting that the Word of God should become flesh in the womb of the most perfect woman: the Blessed Virgin Mary; who, at the very moment of her natural conception, was sanctified by the Holy Spirit and made worthy to become the Mother of God.
